After appearing as a supporting character in 2018’s Spider-Man Homecoming, Miles Morales is getting his own spin-off game for the PlayStation 5. And as with any superhero, Miles has a closet full of alternate costumes for swinging through Harlem. Marvel and developer Insomniac have just unveiled five new unlockable suits for Miles.
Unlike his uncle Peter, Miles has a unique and interesting background. He’s the biracial teenage son of an African-American father and Puerto Rican mother, and was the second Spider-Man to appear in the Ultimate Marvel imprint with its separate continuity from the mainstream Marvel Universe. He jumped to the main Marvel Universe with 2015’s All-New, All-Different Marvel branding.
This suit gives Miles the look of a high-tech superhero. It features a red, white and black color scheme that evokes his cyberpunk design. It also includes a hoodie and a skull-like spider logo on his chest.
After a clone tried to smear his name, Miles commissioned Kenneth Kingston to make him a new suit. This version of his costume has a more classic black and red look with the semblance of webbing on his chest, hands, feet, and arms. The webbing is ingrained rather than protruding, and the visor is dark red instead of purple.
After completing the Roxxon Lab and Underground Hideout challenges, Miles can unlock this suit. It resembles the programmable matter suit from The Underground, but it has a different design and can manifest waldoes when necessary. Spider-man Miles Morales Costume
