The City of Mesa will seek a Council Use Permit to change the existing use of 6733 E Main Street, the Grand Hotel, from a hotel into temporary housing for the Off the Streets (OTS) program. The OTS program is a closed-campus, referral-based housing and social services center for seniors, families, domestic violence victims, and others who are experiencing homelessness. If the City of Mesa is successful in acquiring this property and receiving this permit, there will be a clear set of guidelines, policies and procedures that will ensure the facility and the program remain a good neighbor within the community for its entire duration.
PESA is a safe and effective method for retrieving sperm in men with OA with excellent reported fertilization and pregnancy rates when used in conjunction with ICSI. However, the low SRR of PESA may be due to a variety of obstruction etiologies and it is important that sperm are obtained through other methods if PESA fails. Several studies report that rescue retrieval with MESA or testicular sperm extraction (TESE) can be successful in PESA-ICSI cycles where a sufficient number of sperm cannot be retrieved. In these series, a MESA or TESE rescue procedure was performed in 17% of the PESA-ICSI cycles and resulted in high fertilization and pregnancy rates in both the PESA and MESA-ICSI groups. pesa mesa
